Thank you so much for such an amazing event. Everyone loved the food and our long list of allergies were catered for with ease.The staff were very friendly and looked after everyone and everything from set up of the cutlery / plates and cutlery on the tables to serving canapés and drinks and cleaning up when lunch was finished.There was so much food left over we enjoyed it for the next few days.It was such an enjoyable experience I would recommend Hire a Chef to anyone looking to cater a party and enjoy the event.read more

For a significant birthday celebration Matt at Hire a Chef offered a wide an varied menu to chose from (3 Courses plus cheese), and provided an excellent meal to make the celebration special.

Thank you to Matt and the team! the birthday girl, myself and our guest were so impressed with you and your team! right from the very beginning everything was just with ease, that I got a bit worried because I was thinking it's too good to be true, surely it can't be this easy, but wow, now the food, the food was amazing, great quality food and tasted delicious! the service on the night, everything was on point, you allowed me to relax and enjoy the night, the waiters were super friendly and very attentive. and the best part was walking into my kitchen and it was sparkling clean, like as if you didn't just a full operation of serving a 3-course meal. again, thank you thank you thank you, and apologies for the long read.read more

We booked Hire a Chef to cater for our family dinner while on our holiday in the Blue Mountains in July. We chose to have a private chef as it enabled our family to relax and not be in the confines of a restaurant (we have three grand children 2, 8 and 10 years). It was the best decision! Chef Nino and his amazing assistant Tayane arrived with bucket loads of food. The grazing platter was amazing, mains fantastic (best gratin ever!!) and plentiful and the desserts heavenly.We will definitely be contacting Matt to cater our next family celebration.
